Handwritten annotations in the Regensburg copy of Choralis II
- Canonic instructions clarified
- D, Sequence 15 (verse 2), fol. i4r, staff 5: signum added under breve c” marking the point where the tenor (in augmentation with the discant) ends
- B, Sequence 24 (verse 8), fol. PP1v, staff 3 (beginning): word “Nota” added, perhaps to call attention to the fact that the tenor is derived canonically from the bass
- Numbers added showing semibreve counts above notes in proportional notation or complex ligatures
- A, Alleluia 25, fol. pp3v, staff 2, ligature: “1 1 2 2 2" over notes in ligature
- B, Sequence 1 (verse 8), fol. AA3r, staff 2 (beginning of verse): “2 2 1 - 1 - 2 2"
- B, Sequence 1 (verse 8), fol. AA3r, staff 3: word “dupla” above beginning of staff, then “2" above breve following ₵, then diagonal ovals (apparently meaning “1") above all of the following notes before the final long
- B, Alleluia 25, fol. PP4r, staff 1: number “1" over each note in duple and quadruple proportion
- Incorrect annotations
- A, Sequence 3 (verse 14), fol. bb4v, staff 1: f (flagged white semiminim) inserted between notes 5 and 6
- A, Sequence 10 (verse 16), fol. gg4v, staff 3: signum under the c’ around the middle of the staff crossed out; new signa written under the d’ semibreve three notes earlier and over the first note of the ligature 3 notes later
- A, Sequence 25 (verse 10), fol. rr4r, staff 5: vertical lines through staff before the minim rest preceding the notes over “in coelis” and after the semibreve following them; word “bis” above the notes
